Can You Fly with Cardboard Wings?

The answer

Oz straps on cardboard wings and jumps, and of course he lands in the grass. Real planes fly because of the shape of their wings: as the plane speeds forward, air rushes over and under the wing, and the wing pushes air down, which pushes the plane up. A big passenger plane has to go about 260 km/h (160 mph) down the runway before its wings make enough lift to take off.
